Turnaround Options

Supreme Court filings require strict adherence to formatting, production, and delivery timelines. Our turnaround options ensure every document is prepared with precision, reviewed thoroughly, and delivered on time—whether electronically or in booklet form.

Turnaround requirements differ depending on whether your filing is submitted electronically under Rule 33.2 or printed as a booklet under Rule 33.1.

Electronic Filings (Rule 33.2)

Electronic filings are delivered as compliant PDFs suitable for Supreme Court electronic submission.

Standard Turnaround

• 7–10 business days

This timeframe allows for intake, formatting, corrections, client review, and final PDF production.

Rush Turnaround

• Must be requested at least 14 days before the filing deadline. Any services requested 11-13 days before submission are accepted as timely based solely on our current workload. we ask that all submissions are submitted to us before the last 14 days of your submission deadline.

Rush service accelerates formatting, review, and finalization while maintaining full compliance with Supreme Court rules.

Automatic Rush Classification

Any electronic filing with 10 days or less remaining before the deadline is automatically classified as a rush delivery job and subject to the Rush Delivery Fee.

This protects the integrity of the formatting process and ensures adequate time for corrections and verification.

Emergency Turnaround

• Case‑by‑case availability only

Emergency requests depend on workload, document complexity, and the feasibility of meeting Supreme Court requirements within the available time.

Booklet Filings (Rule 33.1)

Booklet filings require physical production by Supreme Court–approved printers. These filings follow strict technical specifications under Rule 34.

Standard Turnaround

• 3–4 weeks

This includes formatting, typesetting, proofing, and coordination with professional booklet printers.

Rush Turnaround

• Must be requested at least 2 weeks before the filing deadline

Booklet rush service is limited due to mandatory printing, binding, and delivery timelines.

Supreme Court printers require a minimum of one week for production alone.

Emergency Turnaround

• Not available for booklet filings

Physical production timelines cannot be compressed beyond industry limits.

Rush Delivery Fee

Rush delivery is available for qualifying projects:

• Rush Fee: $1,000

This fee applies to both electronic and booklet filings when rush service is available or automatically triggered.

Why These Timelines Exist

Supreme Court formatting is highly technical and requires:

• Compliance with Rules 14, 21, 33, and 34

• Accurate typesetting and layout

• Thorough proofreading

• Time for client review and corrections

• Coordination with professional printers (for booklets)

• Buffer time for unexpected issues or printer delays
